The mission of Partners for Children South L.A. is to improve access to high-quality healthcare, early education and family supports for the youngest and most vulnerable children in South Los Angeles.

Working Together for Young Children and Families

Partners for Children South L.A. (PCSLA) is a collaborative effort of 40+ health and human services organizations that partner to provide service linkage and cross-agency care coordination for children age birth to 5 and their families.

Help Where it Matters Most

Our System of Care was designed specifically with the needs and characteristics of families in L.A. County’s Service Planning Area 6 (SPA 6) in mind. SPA 6 includes the communities of:

  • Compton
  • Crenshaw
  • Florence
  • Lynwood
  • Paramount
  • Rosewood
  • Watts
  • West Adams
  • Willowbrook
  • Vermont Knolls

We Remove Barriers to Accessing Care

We have a “no wrong door” approach. Our Early Childhood System of Care eliminates the major barriers to services that families often face. Through dedicated and seamless care coordination, we ensure each child and family receives the support and resources they need.

Support Our Work

At PCSLA, we are constantly working to identify challenges and gaps in meeting the needs of children and families and building strategies to resolve them. Government funds can only be used for specific purposes. It’s the support from foundations and individuals that enables us to be highly responsive and innovative in our approaches.
